WHO WE ARE
Our History Founded in 1990 in response to the AIDS crisis, Miracle House began as a single apartment in midtown Manhattan where caregivers and patients could stay during their loved one’s most vital hour. While the AIDS community was suffering from a pandemic and social stigma, Miracle House remained a place free of judgment, where caregivers of people living with AIDS could stay and support each other. Our scope has grown to include patients as well - regardless of what illness they suffer from. Our dedication and our foundation remains with those who sacrifice themselves for the well-being of others - the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, lovers and friends of those in need – in a word, the caregivers. |
