Miracle
House Mission
Miracle House provides housing, meals, and advocacy to caregivers
and patients coming to New York City for critical medical treatment.
Our services consist of three major components:
Miracle House operates five 3-bedroom apartments in a modern high-rise
residential building in midtown Manhattan. Families share the common
living areas and have their own private bedroom. Each unit is completely
furnished and features all the amenities of one’s home including
fresh bed linens, high-speed Internet access, and modern appliances.
Each week, Miracle House invites our clients to join us at our
Meals Program. Breakfast is offered 6 days per week and dinner
is offered 3 days per week – all free of charge. Meals are hosted
by a volunteer at a local diner within walking distance of our
apartments. In addition, each unit has a fully equipped kitchen
and stocked pantry.
All Miracle House volunteers who interact with
clients are trained in advocacy. They can offer suggestions and referrals
for other social services.
